Lesson Two – Journey Lists

This English teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise using commas between items in matching lists of some of the special things that might be needed to complete different family journeys.

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and make comparisons between a narrative story about travelling by train with a written explanation about how and why to get somewhere by train and a template to record how to use commas between items in lists to name some of the things that might be needed to complete different journeys.
