Activities in this teaching pack include differentiated templates to select and record sets of special vocabulary words that can be used to explain in model sentences about how and why families travel using a specific form of transport when visiting special locations.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to collect vocabulary lists to describe what happens when making a journey by a specific form of transport.

This lesson is part of an English scheme of work to get the children to research and present information about forms of transport that can be used for different family journeys, add the homophones there, they’re and their to complete sentences about buses and trains and use the conjunctions and and or to link sentence clauses.
