Lesson Six – Plant Fayre

This science teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to practise researching and presenting collected facts and information about how different plants can grow and develop over a period of time.

The class can identify and describe the different parts of a plant and state what all plants need in order to stay healthy and grow such as using nutrients from light, air and water.

This lesson is part of a science scheme of work to get the children to investigate and record the life cycle of plants as they grow from seeds or bulbs into different flowers and identify the factors that can affect their growth.
