Lesson Four – Town Flag

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the colours and shapes seen on flags for different countries and a template to select and record shapes, colours and patterns that can be used on the design for a flag representing the local area.

This lesson is part of an art and design scheme of work to get the children to practise and refine different techniques when printing colours, shapes and patterns to design flags to match specific locations.
