Lesson Two – Body Parts

This curriculum topic teaching pack for the Foundation Stage gets the children to explore how to identify and describe the name, location and function of some of the common parts that can be found on the human body.

This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to investigate and practise some of the different artwork techniques that can be used when composing and painting a portrait of a classmate. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
