Lesson Two – Jesus’ Miracles

This curriculum topic teaching pack for the Foundation Stage gets the children to explore and describe some of the different miracles that were performed by Jesus in the days before his arrival into Jerusalem as part of the Easter story.

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify the sequence of events in a story from the Bible about a miracle performed by Jesus and a worksheet to select and record some of the different ways that they could support a friend at school.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the different miracles that were performed by Jesus in the days before Easter.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to explore and illustrate the main sequence of events in the Easter story and understand the role of different characters in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
