Lesson Three – Jesus’ Friends

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to explain the sequence of events in a story from the Bible about the followers of Jesus and a template to select and record what the disciples might have said about why they were following Jesus.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore the sequence of events in some of the stories of Jesus’ life about his followers and friends.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to explore and illustrate the main sequence of events in the Easter story and understand the role of different characters in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
