Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe daily activities that are part of a healthy lifestyle, a worksheet to record exercises that they could perform at different times during the day and a template to select different exercises that can be used to produce a healthy lifestyle.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore the the importance of a daily exercise routine as part of a healthy lifestyle.

This lesson is part of a science scheme of work to get the children to identify and compare the benefits of different types of foods including fruit and vegetables and discuss ways to care for the body using cleaning and exercise tasks. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
