(G) Addition and Subtraction Solutions

Identify and model how to solve contextual problems using formal written calculations for addition and subtraction including exchange between place value

Measurement

Practise measuring and calculating the areas of shapes using matching measurements that have been recorded in different units for length

Identify, record and compare the surface areas of a range of different rectilinear and irregular shapes by counting their matching numbers of squares

Multiplication and Division

Investigate and model mental and written calculation skills to solve problems involving multiplication and division using the times tables to support each sum
