Lesson Four – Dragon Mask

This art and design teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to practise using different mouldable materials to create a mask representing a dragon to use when performing a dance reflecting Chinese culture and traditions.
The class can identify and describe the properties of a range of 3D shapes that can be used to build different parts of a dragon such as using cuboids for the dragon’s teeth.
