Jungle Animals

This science scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to identify, describe and compare different animals that can be found living in a jungle habitat including in the tree canopy and undergrowth. The class can produce posters and presentations to describe what makes a jungle animal special and unique.

Identify and describe a tapir animal that lives in a matching jungle habitat by their special habits, movements and appearance

Lesson Six : Jungle Talk
Conduct and record research into a special type of animal that can be found living in a jungle habitat to show their appearance, habits and movements
