Lesson Five – Cauldron Potion

This English teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise selecting and composing a set of instructions for a witch to follow about how to make a potion using special ingredients to cast a spell.

The class can identify the importance of re-reading their writing to check for spelling and grammar errors before producing and presenting a final copy for a witch to use.

Download this teaching pack including a lesson plan, classroom activities and an interactive presentation to practise selecting and composing a set of instructions for a witch to follow about how to make a potion using special ingredients to cast a spell
