Lesson Four – Story Sentences

This literacy teaching pack for the Foundation Stage gets the children to explain and model how to choose words to use when completing a selection of simple sentences to describe a range of different objects that are used in traditional stories.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to complete a selection of simple sentences to describe a range of different objects used in favourite stories.
This lesson is part of a literacy scheme of work to get the children to role-play different traditional stories using drama and speaking and listening skills and match initial phonemes in cvc words to letters of the alphabet. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
