Lesson Five – Boxing Day

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe some of the different things that Santa might perform on Boxing Day and templates to select and record actions that Santa might do with the elves on Boxing Day and record some of the special clothing that Santa might wear on Boxing Day.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to devise storyboards describing what happens at the North Pole after Christmas.

This lesson is part of a literacy scheme of work to get the children to record and sequence recounts to describe the activities of characters who live and work at the North Pole including Santa Claus, the elves and the reindeer. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
