Lesson Four – Greengrocer

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the different vegetables and fruit that can be sold in a greengrocer, a template to measure and record the mass of different foods using non-standard measurements and a set of cards to select and record prices for different greengrocer products to role-play a shopping trip.

This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to explore the locations and functions of different shops that can be found in the local area and identify and compare products that are sold in each shop.
