Activities in this teaching pack include a set of cards to explain the meaning of different vocabulary words that can be used to describe how to prevent tooth decay and a word bank to select and use vocabulary in a presentation about how to prevent and repair tooth decay.

This lesson is part of a science scheme of work to get the children to name, locate and explain the function of some of the different types of teeth that are used in the initial digestion of food inside the human mouth.
