Reindeer Lists
This English teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise writing lists to record some of the different items that Santa might need to care for his team of reindeer at the North Pole.

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and explain how to write a list of items for a specific function, a set of cards to name different objects that are needed to care for Santa’s reindeer and a template to make a list of everything chosen to look after the reindeer.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to write lists to record different items needed to care for Santa’s reindeer at the North Pole.
This lesson is part of an English scheme of work to get the children to identify and model how to compile lists of items that might be needed for different Christmas events or experiences. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
