Lesson Six – Class Games

Activities in this teaching pack include a display poster to recite an oath before an athletic competition promising to compete fairly with other competitors and a template to collect and record results when competing in different athletic events for sprinting, hurdling, throwing and jumping.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to compete in sprinting, throwing and jumping events to develop skills and techniques in athletics.

This lesson is part of a physical education scheme of work to get the children to develop and refine different athletic skills in running, throwing and jumping to use when performing and competing in a class athletics competition.
