Lesson Three – Mars

This music teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to compose and perform pieces of music to represent different expressions and themes about the planet Mars that can be found in the Solar System.

The class can devise a selection of eight beat rhythm patterns to illustrate the mood and feeling that might be experienced when making a visit to the planet.
