Lesson Five – Lindisfarne Raid

This history teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to explain and model how to use a primary source to investigate and record information about a Viking raid that happened in Britain at Lindisfarne in the past.
The class can compose and perform play scripts to describe some of the events that happened during the raid on Lindisfarne to illustrate how the Vikings attacked communities.
