Activities in this teaching pack include shared reading texts to describe how the Maya used technology to expand their civilization in the past and identify historical viewpoints about different technological advancements and templates to research notes about Mayan technology to use when formatting and structuring a discussion text explaining why each aspect of technology helped the civilization to expand and grow.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the technological developments that helped the Mayan civilization to grow and expand in the past.
This lesson is part of a history scheme of work to research describe and present information and facts about the culture, traditions and achievements of the Maya civilization in the past .
