Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe how the Maya believed in gods and the afterlife as part of their religious beliefs and a set of cards to group and prove facts and information about the Mayan civilization as true or false.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the religious beliefs of the Mayan civilization in different gods and the afterlife and suggest how historians could find out about different aspects of their culture using primary resources.
