This history teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to investigate how to select and write a set of instructions explaining how to construct an Iron Age roundhouse in the past.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe how dwellings were constructed and used during the Iron Age, a shared reading text to explain how Iron Age tribes constructed and used dwellings in the past and a set of cards to sequence a set of instructions about how to construct a dwelling in the Iron Age.
