Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to describe the benefits and disadvantages of living near to a volcano, a shared reading text to identify and describe what it is like to live near to a volcano and a template to write a reply to a letter to investigate and record some of the benefits and disadvantages of living near to a volcano.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to describe and compare the physical features of volcanoes found in different locations around the world.
