Pollution

This geography scheme of work for Key Stage Two gets the children to identify, compare and record the causes and consequences of different forms of pollution that can affect local and global communities. The class can write letters, speeches and reports to describe problems caused by pollution and suggest solutions.

Devise and record a range of solutions that can be used to stop pollution that has been caused by plastic waste in different locations around the local area

Lesson Five : Global Warming

Practise composing and presenting speeches to use when holding a class debate describing some of the different ways of solving problems caused by global warming in the world

Lesson Six : Earth’s Future

Investigate and illustrate some of the different ways of protecting environments and promoting sustainable development around the world
