Play word games to match the prefixes super, mis and dis to different word roots to use in example sentences about a range of story settings

Lesson Two : Sentence Pronouns
Select and convert some of the pronouns that have been used in sentences from a fiction story about different characters into proper nouns

Lesson Three : Story Dialogue
Select and record matching dialogue in example sentences that might have been spoken by different characters in a narrative story

Lesson Four : Direct Speech
Explain and model how to convert different dialogue sentences related to a narrative story read by the class from reported to direct speech using the correct punctuation

Lesson Five : Story Sentences
Explore and illustrate how to choose and record a range of example sentences to suggest what different characters might have said in a narrative story about animals
