This English teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to investigate and model how to write an explanation to describe how and why different robots might work in the future, to complete a range of tasks and jobs in the world.

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to describe how to structure and format an explanation about a robot that might be developed in the future, a vocabulary word bank to select special connective words to link paragraphs in an explanatory text and a worksheet to edit and correct the format and structure of an explanation about a robot that can complete different jobs and tasks.
