Lesson Four – Macaws

This science teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to identify, locate and describe the functions of some of the different parts of a macaw bird that can be found living in a jungle habitat.

The class can explain and record how macaws can use different parts of their body for feeding, shelter and protection in a jungle habitat such as using the beak to break open foods.
