Lesson Four – Shepherds and Angels

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to understand and explain one of the key events in the nativity story about the birth of Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem and a template to design and produce a present tag to describe a gift that could be given to a new baby.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the suitable gifts and presents that could be given to the baby Jesus as part of the nativity story.

This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to explore and record the sequence of events in the story of the birth of Jesus from the Bible using role-play and art and design activities.
