Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to understand and explain one of the key events in the nativity story about the birth of Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem and templates to design and make a decoration to depict a scene showing something that happened in the nativity story.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore the main events that happened after the birth of Jesus as part of the nativity story.
This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to explore and record the sequence of events in the story of the birth of Jesus from the Bible using role-play and art and design activities.
