Lesson Five – Firefighting

This history teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to describe some of the different ways of preventing and stopping the spread of the Great Fire in London during the seventeenth century.
The class can select and list some of the ways that the fire could have been stopped from spreading throughout London including the use of pulling down houses and changes to the weather.
