Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to record similarities and differences between two locations found in the world and describe some of the different materials that can be found at the seaside and a set of cards to sort seaside materials into groups to match vocabulary words.
The interactive presentation can be used to explore and describe some of the physical and political geographical features that can be found at the seaside.
This lesson is part of a geography scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and compare the physical and political geography of a seaside location with some other places found around the world. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
