Lesson Two – Seaside or Town

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe similarities and differences between locations found at the seaside and in a town, a template to select and record information to compare a pair of geographical locations and a set of cards to sort sentences that can be used to describe different places.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore and describe some of the similarities and differences that can be observed between geographical locations found in the world.

This lesson is part of a geography scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and compare the physical and political geography of a seaside location with some other places found around the world.
