Lesson Five – Dictionary Entries

This English teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to construct and compile entries for a dictionary to describe some of the different types of foods that a family could buy when going shopping.

The class can practise composing sentences to explain what makes a specific fruit special in terms of its appearance, texture and taste using the correct initial capital letters and full stops.
