Lesson Five – Flower Captions

This computing teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise adding a range of matching titles and captions to some digital photographs of different flowers and plants that can be seen around the school grounds.
The class can select appropriate vocabulary to describe the content of an image to show the size, colour and shape of a flower when labelling digital photographs.

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify the most effective titles that can be added to label digital images, a vocabulary word bank and worksheet to select and add captions and phrases to digital images of some different flowers and plants.
