Lesson Four – Underwater Scene

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the materials that can be used make different shapes and objects for a collage and a set of cards to select and use labels for materials that can be worked with when building a collage of an underwater scene.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore and record the design for a collage picture to represent and reflect life that might be seen under the sea.

This lesson is part of an art and design scheme of work to get the children to combine and shape a selection of different natural and art materials to produce artwork reflecting ideas and themes about the sea.
