Lesson Three – Sea Shapes

This art and design teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise identifying, describing and comparing some of the different shapes and patterns that can be seen on materials and objects found under the sea.

This lesson is part of an art and design scheme of work to get the children to combine and shape a selection of different natural and art materials to produce artwork reflecting ideas and themes about the sea. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
