Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe different roles that can be performed by members of a family, a template to select and record household objects that can be used for cleaning a family home and a set of cards to list and illustrate some of the jobs that can be performed by different members of a family.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore and describe the range of roles and responsibilities that different members of a family can use to support each other.
This lesson is part of a personal and social education scheme of work to get the children to investigate and illustrate some of the special ways that members of a family can use to support each other in different events and experiences. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
