The interactive presentation gets the children to explore and compare the mass of different classroom objects and sort them into matching groups of similar sizes.
This lesson is part of a numeracy scheme of work to get the children to measure, compare and record the mass and capacity of different objects and containers using a range of non-standard measurements. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
