Lesson Six – Home Survey

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to compare the range of different types of homes that can be found in the local area close to the school and a template to identify and record some of the different parts that can be found on the outside of a house.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to compare some of the different objects that can be found in a family home.

This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to investigate, describe and compare some of the different types of homes found in the local area around the school environment. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
