Lesson Four – Gardens

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify where a selection of special objects can be used in different places around a house and a template to record and list some of the different objects that can be found and used in a family garden.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the different objects that can be found in an outside location at a house.

This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to investigate, describe and compare some of the different types of homes found in the local area around the school environment. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
