Lesson One – Story Questions

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to suggest answers to questions about the sequence of events in a narrative story, a template to select and record a question that could have been asked in a traditional story by one of the characters and a set of cards to identity and match pairs of cvc words with the same final phoneme sounds.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the reasons behind the sequence of narrative events in a traditional story.

This lesson is part of a literacy scheme of work to get the children to identify and change the sequence of events that happen in a traditional story and match a range of different words that rhyme using the same final phoneme.
