Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to suggest different ways of changing designs to persuade people to recycle materials, a template to select and record information at a local recycling centre about how to promote recycling and a worksheet to suggest and record changes to the design of a poster make it more persuasive.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore how to design and present posters to encourage families to recycle a range of different materials.

This lesson is part of a geography scheme of work to get the children to research and present some of the benefits and disadvantages that can be produced when recycling different materials at home and in school.
