Lesson Five – Athletics Training

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the skills needed when sprinting, throwing and jumping in an athletics competition and a worksheet to keep a record of measurements in length and time for sprinting, throwing and jumping athletic events.

This lesson is part of a physical education scheme of work to get the children to develop and refine different athletic skills in running, throwing and jumping to use when performing and competing in a class athletics competition.
