Lesson Two – Bible Parables

This religious education teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to select, compose and perform a play script to show the sequence of events and meaning of a one of the parable stories that was told by Jesus to his followers and disciples.
The class can identify and explain how Christians use some of the teachings by Jesus in the Bible as a guide about how to lead good lives.

This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to investigate how the story of Jesus and the development of Christianity is presented in the New Testament including the idea that Jesus brought light into the world.
