Lesson Four – Palm Sunday

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe how Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem, a template to design and make a card to welcome Jesus to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and a worksheet to select greetings to add to a card celebrating Easter.

The interactive presentation can be used to explore a story from the Bible about the Easter story to identify how religious beliefs can be expressed through symbols.

This lesson is part of a religious education scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and illustrate how families can demonstrate and celebrate their beliefs about God through special religious celebrations at Easter.
