Activities in this teaching pack include a set of display posters to identify and describe the function of buildings used by the Maya in the past, a shared reading text to explore how the Maya built and developed cities and a table display card to support research of a building that has been left behind by the Mayan civilization.

The interactive presentation gets the children to investigate the construction and function of buildings used by the Maya in the past and explain how historians could use the buildings to find out about life in the Mayan Civilization.
