Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and describe a journey to a specific location by a family and a template to complete a letter using simple sentences to describe a family visit to somewhere special on a day out.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to compose letters to describe a range of journeys that can be made to different locations by a family.
