Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify the structure and sequence of the narrative events in a traditional story and a template to create a character mask to use when role-playing a retelling part of a traditional story.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to change and perform parts of a traditional story adding new characters to the narrative events.
