Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to read and sort each of the numbers to twenty into order from smallest to biggest and sets of cards to practise sorting numbers to twenty written in words and digits into the correct order and identify and record the next numbers working with the sequence of numbers to ten and twenty.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to sequence, compare and match numbers to twenty written in both words and digits.
This lesson is part of a numeracy scheme of work to get the children to count, compare and order sets of objects to twenty and identify the matching numbers using words and numerals. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
